Our Analysis & Ratings

The Aquaglide Navarro 110 has a lot of plusses - stability, comfort, and ample storage space suitable for overnight trips. The noticeable downside of it though is the lack of speed, and setup/pack down. We also find it hard to manoeuvre around due to its bulky width. However, it is definitely priced decently, which is just right for its entry-level standard.

Performance - The kayak requires more work from the paddler because although it manages to speed up in a straight line, it tends to drift a lot. The single fin at the bottom should’ve helped with tracking but to us it didn’t seem to make a big difference. It’s wider than usual kayaks, making it harder to handle, but it’s also very stable so again, perfect for beginner paddlers.

Construction - Built with strong ripstop polyester covering, this basic PVC kayak is well constructed but lacks the quality finish and firmness that we see in higher end kayaks.

Setup/Pack down - The actual inflation itself isn’t difficult, however the kayak has mismatched valves, which make it the process of inflation longer as you have to switch pump parts. The drainage hole in the floor saves you from having to tip the whole thing over to get water out, but because the PVC is covered in fabric it can take a while to dry out after use - especially if we’re having a wet summer!

Portability - Lightweight and compact at 12.4kg, this will easily fit in your boot ready to go or fit neatly in storage however it does sacrifice a bit of quality in materials to drop the weight.

Comfort - Here’s where we were really impressed - the strong seat was comfortable to sit in for hours, and we never felt cramped in the spacious cockpit. You won’t be disappointed with the spacious storage for longer trips.

Overall - Recommended for beginners who like a comfortable and stable kayak, but with a little compromise on pack down.
