Our Analysis & Ratings
As a dining or side table, the Dometic Element Table (medium size) is a great choice for all-weather camping. It’s easy to set up, has adjustable legs for different surfaces and folds down without hassle. It’s a good idea to hang on to the original box for storage or transport so it stays clean and protected when not in use.
Performance - Each leg can be adjusted individually, which makes it really handy on uneven ground. It’s a great size for two people to have a meal comfortably, but you can fit up to four people around it if you don’t mind being a little cramped. The wide feet help stop the legs from sinking into soft surfaces and also protect the base of your tent if you’re using one. Just keep in mind, the black tabletop can heat up quite a bit in the sun.
Construction - Made with lightweight aluminium, this table is built to handle everyday outdoor use. The top is waterproof, so it stands up well to spills and rainy weather and you won’t have to worry about moisture damaging it.
Features - The corners are rounded to help prevent bumps and scrapes, which is helpful if you’ve got kids around. The legs are strong and can be adjusted to different heights. The table can hold up to 30kg, which is enough for most camping needs.
Portability - Weighing just 4.99kg, it’s light enough to carry to and from the campsite. The tabletop stays as one piece and doesn’t fold, but the legs fold up neatly underneath. Even though it doesn’t fold in half, it’s still a manageable size to pack.
Versatility - Thanks to its sturdy feet, you can use it on a range of surfaces without it tipping or wobbling. The medium size (about 80x60x71cm) works well for couples or small groups. If you need a different size, there are both smaller and larger versions available. This medium version is probably too small for bigger families of five or more to sit around comfortably.
Overall - If you want a camping table that’s a good height for sitting at, easy to carry and not too bulky, the Dometic Element Table (medium) is definitely worth considering.
