Our Analysis & Ratings

What makes the Vango Nevis 200 a good tent is its easy setup without getting the inside wet. It is definitely made literally for rainy days. On the other hand, the space seems tight and the tunnel design somehow took a bit of time to set up. Price is just worth its overall design.

Comfort - We could use a little more room in this tent. The compact design doesn’t balance out with the interior, having little headroom that was a struggle for 2 people lying head to toe.

Construction - It has a solid waterproof feature with a unique tunnel design. We think it would’ve been better with a solid structure and frame.

Features - Pitching the tent under pouring rain is not a problem because of its good setup mechanism that prevents water from getting inside. The single vestibule and lack of ventilation didn’t work for us, especially considering typical Aussie conditions.

Size/Weight - Fairly good price for a packed size of 46x15cm and weight of 2kg.

Versatility - This offers just enough for a night or two if you don’t mind the small space. Maybe longer trips will make it more noticeable and bothersome.

Overall - Not enough living space.
