The Naturehike Cloud-Up 2 tent is a basic option with minimal storage space. While it is easy to setup, waterproof and lightweight the lack of interior space made for an uncomfortable night's sleep.

A hard shell foldable kayak that doesn't require inflation. The Oru Beach LT is a lightweight durable kayak that handles well in the water. It is a expensive, the thin seat design is a bit less comfortable than some others.

The Razor Kayaks X1 High Pressure is a full Tech-Stitch kayak, and the best out of those we reviewed. It performs very closely to a hard shell kayak in the water, sets up and stores easily, and is comfortable and efficient to paddle - a clear winner.

This is a light portable kayak that is stable and handles well in the water. The drop stitch floor provides an excellent surface to paddle against and it's really easy to setup and pack away.

For the price this kayak tracks surprisingly well, is fairly stable and isn't too hard to handle. Our main knocks on it are that it's made with thin materials that may be susceptible to puncture and it's slow in the water.

The first thing we noticed about this kayak in the water is that it is bulky. It takes a bit of wrestling to get it moving in a straight line. It's probably more durable than other budget models but it's also hard to handle.

This is definitely the cheapest kayak we tested and in our opinion it does feel more like a pool toy than a kayak. It handles ok and is easy to dry but the cockpit is hard to squeeze into and the thin materials make it susceptible to puncture.

We love the stability and comfort of this kayak. It also has some great storage for taking on an overnight trip. Our main issues are the setup/pack down and speed in the water. We really noticed the width and it was a bit hard to manoeuvre this kayak around.

On paper this should be a great kayak. It certainly delivers on the speed and is the closest inflatable kayak in terms of design to a hard shell. It's a bit heavy to carry but the main issue we have is the lack of stability and less than great finish quality of the build.

The Sea Eagle 300X Explorer is compact, quick to set up and easy to pack down. Compared to some of the other top end models however it doesn't perform as well in the water. Its wide base does provide a bit of extra stability but it does make it a harder to paddle.

This is a comfortable kayak that performs pretty well in the water. Tracking really well in a straight line it is also easy to manoeuvre. With all the inflation points it does take time to setup.

Really solid in the water with a good storage capacity, this is an enjoyable kayak to paddle. The cockpit is comfortable and there is a curved bar the lifts the deck to give you the little bit of extra space you need for your legs.

The Vango Nevis 200 is a serviceable tent for the price. Its tunnel design makes it a bit tricky to set up and the interior space is fairly tight. The main feature is that you can set up the tent without getting the inner wet. We struggled with the lack of interior and storage space.

This is the best pure hiking tent we reviewed. Incredibly lightweight for a tent of this quality, with good features and large vestibules. The tapered design can be a bit narrow and the materials aren't as strong as some of the others we reviewed.

A great allrounder with generous living space and high quality construction. Easy single pole setup, high privacy screens and symmetrical living space make this a very practical tent.
